OKEHAMPTON Argyle came up against a very good side who have just gained promotion to the Devon and Exeter League Premier division.

Argyle sent mainly their reserve team squad, but realising the quality of the opposition, included a sprinkling of first team players.

The visitors had the better of the first half going in at the break with a 1-0 lead courtesy of Steve Kinsey.

Morchard came back in the second half and eventually ran out 2-1 winners with two well taken goals. This was a good workout for both teams and Okehampton played some good passing football throughout.

Argyle manager Jamie Ware took the opportunity to try out a full squad and was pleased with the performance. Simon Fellows put in another fine performance in goal for Okehampton.
