OKEHAMPTON Community Transport Group has offered to pick up the antiviral drug Tamiflu for anyone in and around the area, who are unable to get their prescription.

Co-ordinator for Okehampton Community Transport Group, Sue Wonnacott, said she wanted people to know help is out there.

She said: 'If people don't have flu friends who can pick up Tamiflu, then we will ask one of our volunteers to go and collect it for them.

'We will do everything we can to try and help the community and the people who are more vulnerable.'
