THERE will be the chance to view the world in a different light starting in Okehampton next week.
The Museum of Dartmoor Life is hosting an exciting new exhibition and has organised a special workshop to coincide with it.
The new exhibition, running from August 21 to September 1, celebrates the work of photographers Pam Kemp and Julie Routley.
There will be two parts to the exhibition entitled 'Hidden Lives' and 'Photofusions.'
Hidden Lives explores the world above and beneath the waves as seen through a lens in an innovative and original way, while Photofusions is a selection of vivid and unusual images created by combining art, photography and computers.
Julie Routley said: 'This is the first time we've exhibited together so we're both quite excited.
'I recently had an exhibition at The Wharf in Tavistock which was very successful so hopefully this will be too.'
The museum will be holding a one day workshop, called 'Picture This!' on Thursday, August 21, the day the exhibition opens.
Picture This! will be packed full of activities based around the theme of pictures and promises to be a great day for all those enjoying their summer holiday.
There will be the chance to create different collages, take part in finger painting and to even make a camera.
The workshop will run from 10.30am to 4pm and is guaranteed to be hands-on and lots of fun.
People are welcome to come along at any time and to stay as long as they like. The workshop costs £1 per child.
