OKEHAMPTON and District Ladies Probus held their latest meeting on July 2 at the Conservative Club.
Speaker Annabelle Reynolds gave a talk entitled 'Celtic Harp, folk and traditional music'. She started with a history of harps dating back to medieval times, and then performed some harp music, with two Probus members trying their hand at playing the harp.
A minute's silence was held for Marion Trennaman.
The next meeting is on July 16, when the group will hold its annual general meeting.
New committee members are required to enable the club to keep on functioning, and the group is hoping to find some at their next meeting.
