TWO children inspired by reading and the London 2012 Games have won prizes as part of an Okehampton Library competition.
Over the summer, children have designed their own Olympic medals featuring their favourite book characters.
The library received a number of great entries, but eventually chose Lauryn Voaden for her Allie Finkle medal and Kali Hatten for her Rainbow Magic Fairy medal.
They both won a London 2012 mascot and a £5 book token. All entrants received a goody bag with stickers, pens and notebooks. The prizes were sponsored by the Friends of Okehampton Library.
