OKEHAMPTON kicked off on a wet pitch and went straight into the attack with the forwards dominating the rucks and mauls.
With the game being played in the Ivybridge half it was only a matter of time before the Okes scored with an excellent try set up by Alex Arthers and touched down by Luke Dennis.
Ivybridge took up the challenge and launched a series of attacks down the wings which eventually led to an unconverted try.
The Okes took up the challenge and put pressure on their opponents so that the game swung up and down the pitch with the muddy conditions making ball handling difficult. Eventually Alex Arthers made another classic run down the wing to score a try which was unconverted.
After half time Oke received the ball from Ivybridge's kick off and launched an attack which saw Dean Folland touch down and Liam Wilkins convert. This was followed by another attack by the Okes and a team effort saw Alex Arthers touch down. The game became a hard battle for position and both sides launched attacks only to be foiled and counter attacks launched before the home team scored another unconverted try.
With ball handling and traction becoming difficult the game continued to roll up and down the field. Both sides tried to find an opening with minutes to go the Okes' pressure told and Josh Bush crossed the line for a unconverted try to end an excellent game.
