ON Saturday a large field at Okehampton contested a four ball better ball competition for the winter trophy.
Winners of division one and the trophy were Jonny Rattenbury and Jack Cornwall with a superb 48 points. Second were the pairing of Richard Johnson and Dave Harwood with 45. Third were Del Owen and Gareth Holt with 44 from in fourth Will and Arnie Searle also on 44.
Winners of division two were Kerry Skinner and Paul Ayris with 42 points on the back nine from Chris Askew and Horace Floyd also with 42.
Third on the back six were John Haley and Paul Douglas with 42 and fourth were Phil Atherton and Bob McDowell with 41.
