EIGHT teams from local primary schools entered the Okehampton Rotary Club quiz held at the town's primary school last Tuesday evening.

A wide range of questions were asked and the result was very close at the end of the evening. The winners were Lew Trenchard Primary School with Okehampton Primary finishing a close second.

Thanks were expressed to Okehampton Rotary Club for arranging such a popular annual event and to Okehampton Primary School for hosting this part of the competition.

The grand final will be held at Okehampton College, involving the winning teams from the Hatherleigh and North Tawton heats.
