RAINBOW Pre-School in Okehampton has received a grant to support the group in a 12 month project which offers free workshops and activities to children under five.

The grant for £870 from the Big Lottery Fund will enable free sessions designed to inspire, motivate and stimulate children.

The first session will offer an Easter craft workshop where children, parents and carers can take part in various activities.

These will include decorating their own egg cups, cards, cone puppets and make their own chocolate nests.

The children will be able to take home all their creations at no cost.

There will also be baby rabbits at the event.

The workshop will be held on Friday, March 26 between 9.30am till 11am.
