THERE was lovely spring weather for the gentlemen members of Okehampton Golf Club, who played a medal competition.
The winner of division one was Nick Heath with a gross 75, net 63; second was Del Owen with a net 66; third was Jeff May who also had a 66.
Division two was won by Jack Cornwall with a net 67; second was club captain Mike Charlesworth with a 68 from Dave Grimes who also had a 68. Division three was won by Keith Lee with a net 65 from John Haley with a net 66; Roy Ford was third with a net 67.
Okehampton Ladies played their April Medal and in the silver division Jane Warren won with a net 73, Lin Atkinson was second with net 75 and Cherry James was third, net 78.
The bronze division was won by Mary Keir with net 74, second was Maureen Willcocks on a net 79 and Jenni Hutchinson was third with net 79.
In the nine hole Stableford competition Val Roberts was first with 16 points and Maureen Howe second.
