ON July 10 is Super Sporting Sunday —the final day of Okehampton Sports and Fitness Festival.

There will be lots for children, young people and adults of all ages to come along and participate in, watch and enjoy on Okehampton College grounds and Simmons Park.

The Moor than 10k Run starts at 11am; local and teams from across Devon are taking part in the football five-a-side and there will be mixed hockey tournaments. Adult football teams in the men's, women's and veterans competition can still enter.

Exeter City are organising free football sessions for the children and there is a free swim at Parklands between 1pm-4pm.

There is also a range of art sessions and also demonstrations from a variety of sports including world champion martial arts specialists.

The putting competition allows all potential Rory Mcilroy's the chance to  shine whatever your age.   With Wimbledon finished there's a chance to put your skills to the test against a ball machine or to enjoy the tennis finals. Entrants can finish the day with a game of water polo.

With a wonderful play park, food, bar inflatables and Frisbee there's a lot to enjoy.
