THE mayor of Okehampton, Cllr the Rev Mike Davies, and fellow councillor Kay Bickley will join plucky volunteers to go 'over the top' to show their support for the town's Room 13.

The pair will abseil down the tower of St James' Chapel this Saturday, December 8, to raise funds to support young people in the area aged 13 to 19.

The sponsored abseil takes place from 11am to 4pm and there will be food on sale at Room 13 with jacket potatoes and hot dogs.
