WITH spring fast approaching, I am appealing for people to volunteer for Marie Curie Cancer Care's Great Daffodil Appeal and help make it a success.  Although the appeal doesn't take place until February and March, planning for the local collections is already underway and we're looking for people to help us organise them throughout the county.

Marie Curie Nurses provide free care for terminally ill people in their own homes. They see first hand what it means for patients to have the choice of where to spend their final days, surrounded by family and friends, which is why the Great Daffodil Appeal is so important.

Marie Curie Nurses provide high quality nursing care to ensure that patients can spend time with loved ones at home, the place most people want to be.

Donating your time to the appeal will allow Marie Curie Nurses to provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes.

We've got a role for everyone so, whether you've got a couple of hours or a couple of days a week to spare, please get in touch. Join your local team of volunteer collectors by calling Marie Curie Cancer Care now on 01872 260500 or visit to find out more today.

Thanks for your support.
