THANKS to the generosity of people in and around Okehampton, a Poppy Appeal coffee morning in November organised by the Women's section of the Royal British Legion raised £346.

The group's next coffee morning will be held in the Charter Hall on Saturday December 18 between 9.30am and 11.45am.

Coffee and tea will be served, as well as mince pies with clotted cream. The refreshments are included in the admission price of just 50p per person.

There will also be lots of stalls, and a grand draw.
