ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club an individual Stableford was held. The winner of division one was Richard Johnson with 40 points. Second was Martin Cox with 39 on the back nine from Matt Soby also with 39.
Division two was won by Kerry Skinner with 44 points from Bob Davies in second on 40 and third was Graham Mitchell with 39. Division three was won by Kieran Mitchell with 41 points from Jack Cornwall with 40. Alan Jeffery came third with 39 points.
Lady members Mary Keir and Jane Warren played against Libbaton at Libbaton in the Daily Mail Foursomes. It was a tough match which went to the 19th hole where Jane sank a three foot putt to win the match.
An Okehampton team comprising of captain Lynn Hazelton, Pam Jarman, Jane Warren, Mary Keir and Trish Nillson played in the first round of the Mail on Sunday Matchplay and losing out against a strong home side Holsworthy.
On March 17 the ladies played a Stableford competition. The silver division was won by Jane Warren on 33 points, second Pam Jarman, 31 points. Bronze division was won by Sylvie Gowers with 37 and Jenni Hutchison was second on 32.
