THE 110th Hatherleigh Carnival has its royalty, as the carnival queen, prince and princess were crowned at Saturday's Island Park Party.
Hatherleigh Carnival queen Jazzmine Stacey and prince and princess Tyler Ware and Alisha-Marie Slee were crowned at the annual event by carnival presidents John and Janet Hill.
The party is one of the major fundraisers for the carnival, which sees the burning barrels pulled through the town's streets on November 9.
The party kicked off with music from Hatherleigh Silver Band, and partygoers dressed up in glitzy and glamourous clothing to celebrate 110 years of the carnival. The event also saw the winners of Hatherleigh Primary's carnival shopping bag competition announced — William Bennett and Demelza Brock.
Fun attractions at the party included live music from Revolvin' Door, children's rides, duck races and a surf simulator.
