THIS year’s festive Ruby Country Market will be held in Hatherleigh on Saturday, December 5 from 9am to 2pm.

Each year the Ruby Country Markets are held to raise funds for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust. Representatives from the charity will be in attendance in the food hall and offer visitors the chance of winning a Christmas hamper worth £50 and other donated food prizes in their bumper festive raffle, with tickets for £1 each.

There will be a multitude of stalls selling all sorts and musical entertainment from the Hatherleigh Silver Band, The Ukulele Bashers, the United Gospel Choir, Winkleigh Morris and Cameron Mills.

Attendees can meet Roger the goat mascot, working shire horses Sunny and Tom, Edd the Magician and of course, Father Christmas and his little helper.
