THE Devon Sensory Bus, a specially equipped bus that offers free, confidential service to those with hearing or visual impairment has released its 2013 timetable for the first half of the year.

The service provides trained staff who understand the effects of hearing and sight loss, and can offer support and advice, as well as demonstrate the use of a range of equipment to help with everyday difficulties such as hearing the doorbell or telephone, or reading newspapers and books.

The bus will visit Chagford and Moretonhampstead on the third Tuesday of each month, and North Tawton and Okehampton on the third Thursday of each month.

The timetable for January is as follows:

January 15 — Chagford Town Square, 10.30am to 1.30pm.

January 15 — Moretonhampstead Court Street car park, 2pm to 3pm.

January 17 — North Tawton Town Hall, 10.30am to noon.

January 17 — Okehampton Fairplace Church 1pm to 3pm.
