IF Mr Luckhurst, of Okehampton, (Letters, September 19) would be so kind as to submit a photograph, we would be most delighted to critique his own fashion choices. We are sure they would be notably 'elegant, graceful, tasteful and refined'. And, indeed, perhaps he too would look rather fetching in a 1970s maternity smock?

MAY I suggest that as David Luckhurst obviously dislikes seeing young pregnant women's bumps on display on the streets, he should do us all a favour and stay at home.
