FREE taster sessions at Parklands Leisure Centre in Okehampton are being offered at some West Devon Connect events next month.

Staff from Parklands will be joining the outreach drop-in service when it travels to rural communities across West Devon in November.

They will be offering some free adult taster sessions for swimming, badminton and the gym, as well as providing information about the range of fitness and beauty facilities available at the leisure centre.

West Devon Connect, co-ordinated by West Devon Borough Council, offers friendly, face-to-face advice and information about a range of public services.

Everyone is welcome to drop-in at the roadshow events in November which are taking place at Broadwoodkelly, Chagford, Exbourne, Hatherleigh and Princetown.

As well as an advisor from the borough council, people will also be able to speak to representatives from organisations such as Citizens Advice Bureau, Devon Carers, LINk Devon, CALL 24, Devon County Council Adult Learning and Education, Senior Council for Devon, South West Water and Action on Hearing Loss.
