A DAY of egg throwing, fancy dress and magic is in store for everyone at the Sticklepath Village Day on Saturday, August 17.

From 2pm to 5pm the village playing field will be buzzing with activity. From 2.15pm, children will be dressed as country bumpkins for the fancy dress parade, followed by a magic show at 2.30pm.

The Cogs and Wheels morris side will perform a dance at 3pm, with children's races at 3.30pm.

The tug of war contest takes place at 4pm, with egg throwing at 4.30pm.

Throughout the afternoon there will be a hog roast, ferret racing, vintage tractors, a bouncy castle, tombola,children's games, craft stalls, a bar and lots of fun for all.
