A young couple who farm organically near North Tawton have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise thousands of pounds to help them become ‘greener than the grass’.
Sam and Katie Bullingham of Taw River Dairy are fundraising to swap their diesel powered delivery van for an electric powered one to be charged up using electricity generated on the farm.
It will cost them around £40,000 to make the switch so they can deliver organic milk and ice cream to local outlets in an environmentally friendly way.
