THIS proved to be a physical encounter with no quarter given by either side.

Forwards competed well at set plays and handling skills were good with ball flowing to hand along the backs.

Billy Searle opened the score for Okehampton with a try which was unfortunately not converted.

Okehampton defended well against Crediton and did not allow them to cross the score line.

In the second half Will Cooper scored a further try. Okehampton kept the pressure on and defended well to deny Crediton a score.

Camberley U15s 31

OKEHAMPTON and Crediton combined took on the touring side with gusto. Despite intense defence they conceded a couple of tries which were converted and then got into gear with Zac Ponsford scoring a try. This was followed by a further try from Camberley.

In the second half Josh Bickley scored a try which Kyler Burns converted. Camberley again crossed the try line and converted. Okes/Crediton dug deep and responded with a try through Jack Williams. With a tiring team gaps opened up in defence to allow the visitors to score a final try which they converted. Spirits were high and the game thoroughly enjoyed.
