BELSTONE Village Hall will hold its regular cream tea event on Sunday, July 7 to raise funds for Okehampton and Tavistock Citizens Adice Bureaux.

Cream teas and refreshments will be available from 2.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

Mandy Kenyon, development officer for CAB said: 'As a local charity we are very grateful to the Belstone community for supporting us by holding this event.

'Without support of this kind it would be difficult for us to continue to provide help and advice to the public in West Devon, especially at a time when our services are experiencing extra demand due to the recent welfare reforms.

'We have found that cake is vital to our work both as a fundraising tool and as essential fuel for our volunteers.'
