ON their way to school our children have to go through the invisible fog of pollution from the traffic that sits poisoning their lungs and other cells in their young bodies. The five sets of traffic lights slow the traffic so it backs up causing a long line of very slow moving traffic. On their way back from school they are again exposed to toxic fumes. You cannot wonder why asthma is becoming a problem. But with a bit of wise traffic management, ie two roundabouts and zebra crossings to keep the traffic moving, hopefully this would lower some pollution.
