FIRE crews were called to reports of a fire involving a tumble dryer in an outbuilding at Broad Park, Okehampton last week.

Two crews from Okehampton and North Tawton attended the incident last Thursday at around 8.45pm, where they found a single storey shed well alight. They quickly extinguished the fire, using two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus.

The contents of the shed were severely damaged, as well as an adjacent patio door of a nearby property which received 10% damage.

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
