PICTURED are Year 4 pupils from Okehampton Primary School on their recent trip to Widemouth Bay in Cornwall to support their science and art learning.
Pupils carried out a litter pick of the beach, which was then analysed, based on the materials and the impact these have on marine life. Rock-pooling followed, using identification keys for any species found.
Natural beach items were used to create environmental sculptures, as inspiration for the artwork back in school.
