THE CITIZENS' Advice Bureau is holding a one off workshop offering free financial help and advice to anyone over 60.

The workshop is being held in Belstone Village Hall on Tuesday November 11 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and will cover budgeting advice on shopping, general money saving ideas and information about where people can go for further financial planning advice.

Penny Westlake from Adult and Community Learning said: 'It is a chance for the over 60s to come along and get some advice and guidance from the Citizens' Advice Bureau and to find out new ideas for financial planning.

'We are hoping for a good turnout, especially at such a difficult time of year and with the credit crunch and all the recent financial worry.'

Refreshments are being served in the newly refurbished hall and anyone wanting to know more can phone Penny on 01566 783265.
