Okehampton Argyle

U9s 1

WITH the league season coming to an end Okehampton Argyle U9s had a rearranged league match against Copplestone and a friendly match against Moors youth from Tiverton.

With Copplestone and Okehampton both fighting it out for the league title there was little to pick between the two sides.

This game started brightly in the sunshine at Bow School pitch. Copplestone put Argyle under early pressure, dealt superbly with by the Oke defence.

Argyle hit Copplestone on the break with some powerful counter attacking from midfield resulting in Harry Camies catching the ball on the half volley and drilled the ball into the bottom corner to score the only goal of the game.

Okehampton held out in the second half for a superb 1-0 victory.
