AFTER a recent run of good results Okehampton were keen to ensure this continued.

The home side opened up the scoring when a wayward pass from the Okehampton defence was picked up by Hornets and easily despatched.

The away team rallied and tried their best to bring the scores level but this did not come to plan and a second was scored by Hornets to put the visitors 0-2 down.

After some good solid play the away team advanced down the right -hand side of the pitch where Miller threaded the ball through to Liversidge; it bounced up nicely and he volleyed it into the top right corner of the goal.

Shortly after the ball was passed to Liversidge, whose shot was well saved and Miller pounced onto the ball and buried it into the bottom right corner to equalise.

Turning around at 2-2 it was Okehampton who made the first strike into the second half. After some superb forward play the away side were awarded a short corner. Again the ball was injected into Liversidge, who dispatched the ball into the top left corner with a fine drag flick for 3-2.

The away side needed to keep their composure to secure the win but it was not to be and after another misplayed pass allowed the home side to attack and put the ball past the keeper to finish with a draw.
