Its been a successful start for Okehampton's first ever Muay Thai Boxing Training Centre which newly opened this month at Fatherford Farm, Okehampton.

Run by Chaos professional coaches Steve Pender and Christi Campbell, the training centre focuses on Muay Thai fitness and competition based classes for all ages and abilities.

The facility boasts a 14ft boxing ring, Thai kick bags, and a spacious clinch work area, which seems to be benefiting its members already.

Coaches Steve and Christi said: 'It makes a huge difference to have our own facility; it will assist the learning of our students, especially those that are competing regularly.

'We have our junior team competing and defending their titles in Manchester on February 4, and can see improvement through their training regime already!'

It's proving to quite popular, we are gaining a mixture of new members, which is promising.'
