TWO new champions from Okehampton emerged from the weekends fight in the form of Dylan Sanders and Jordan Gale who both won English titles at a kick boxing championship in Salford, Manchester.

Sammy Jo Luxton defended her Celtic champion north belt — to retain her belt is a big achievement and she only has to fight once more for this belt and will be able to keep it.

Wins for Chantelle Tippett and Lee Baker, members of the The Chaos Thai Muay Fitness and Competition Gym in Okehampton, ensured they came away with championship belts for the first time. Another promising prospect from the team Chaos camp is Jack Marsh who went the distance in a tight fight and was unlucky not to come away with the decision in a much improved performance, though the match is to be refought.
