ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club in windy conditions an individual Stableford competition was played.

The winner of division one with 41 points was Aaron Kinkead. In second place was Graham Moysey with 37pts on the back nine from, in third, Pete Murphy also with 37pts.

Division two was won by Steve Robinson with 39pts and Richard Goodger came second with 37pts and third went to Matt Parry on 35pts.

David Stallion won division three with 40pts. Mike Davis was second on 37pts and in third came Roger Halliday with 35pts.

On Sunday the annual new captain’s drive-in shotgun event was held. The format of the day was a Stableford competition with drawn teams of three and two scores to count. The overall winners with 72 points were Paul Douglas, Colin Beardwell and Martyn Gannon closely followed into second place by Adrian Tilley, Matt Parry and Mary Keir attaining 70 points.

On Wednesday the ladies held their Turkey Trot Stableford competition. The overall winner with 36 points was Lin Atkinson; second place went to Sue Williams with 34pts and in third with 31 pts was Carol Skrzypczak.
