ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club a three ball, two to count Stableford was played and the winners of division one were Evan Rees, Barry Down and Stuart Tolley with 82 points after countback on the back nine from, in second, Andy Parry, Matt Parry and Jack Cornwall.

Third position was taken by Trevor Parker, Rod Wright and Rob Green with 80pts.

Division two was won by Dave Grimes, Bryan Evans and John Ripley with 78pts; Richard Heslop, John Halliday and Roger Halliday were second with 77pts and John Flavin, Roger Slack and Stuart Brealy were third with 76pts.

On Wednesday the ladies played a greensomes Stableford competition with half combined handicaps for the Rees Baker Cup.

The winners of the competition and the trophy were Sue Williams and Cherry James with 35pts closely followed into second by Francis Harbron and Maureen Willcocks, who had 34pts.
