AFTER once again enjoying a very successful season at Okehampton Golf Club both the ladies’ President’s and the Creasy team got through to the county finals which were held at Saunton Sands Golf Club. This in itself was a great achievement for Okehampton.

A buoyant group of lilac clad ladies and supporters set off and first on the tee were the Creasy team who were up against Fingle Glen. This proved to be a very close match with Fingle going through as the victors. Next on the tee were the Presidents and their opponents were the ladies from Holsworthy, once again there was a nail biting finish with Okehampton managing to win the match and the title.

The club wishes to thank everyone involved throughout the entire season, players, caddies and supporters.
