OKEHAMPTON Golf Club players competed on Saturday in round two of the 36 hole 2018 Club Championship for its prestigious title.

In addition they also contested for the Hutchings Cup, Leonard Tankard and June Individual Medal.

The 2018 club champion is Evan Rees with a combined gross score of 147, with the runner up spot going to Ian Moore with 148 and Mark Wonnacott third with 149.

The winner of the 36 hole Hutchings Cup (handicap) was Stuart Tolley with a combined nett score of 132, with Paul Prouse taking the runner up spot with 133 and Mike Moore coming third with 135. Paul Rattenbury won the Leonard Tankard for the best gross over 36 holes (age 55 and over) with a combined gross of 157.

The winner of the June individual medal in division one was Stuart Tolley with nett 64; division two was won by Ricky Wooldridge with nett 66 and division three by Rob Jones with nett 62.

The seniors champion for 2018 is Rod Milsom-Smith winning both the Warren Bowl (scratch) and seniors champion trophy (handicap) with a gross 77, nett 64.
