ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club in superb weather conditions a stroke play competition for the Jim Butcher Medal was held.

The winner of division one and the Jim Butcher Medal was Kevin Cornwall with a gross 69 nett 64. In second place was Keith Harvey with nett 66 after countback from, in third Matthew Parry. Malcolm Hooper took fourth place with nett 67.

Adrian Raymond was the winner of division two with nett 65; Brian May was second with nett 66 and Keith Lee was third with nett 67 just pipping Paul MacDonald on the back nine.

Division three was won by Ted Boswell with nett 65 placing Michael MacDonald in second with nett 68; Steve Pike was third with nett 71 winning on the back nine over John Haley also with nett 71.
