ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club a four ball better ball Stableford competition was held.

This proved to be a close run contest with the top three pairs in division one all achieving 42 points. After countback first place went to Paul Rattenbury and Sam Woollacott; second were Matt Mills and Steve Peak and in third were Alan Lawson and Keith Harvey.

Division two was won by Steve Browne and Brian May with 41 pts on the back nine from, in second, David Grimes and Bryan Evans also with 41pts. Alan Grimshaw and Mike Davis took third place with 40pts.
