CONGRATULATIONS to Morgan Holt and Oscar Jamison from Okehampton Golf Club, who along with 40 other juniors, took part in the final event of the 2018 golf access U14s mini tour which was held at Wrangaton Golf Club.

In sunny but cold and windy conditions, Morgan came joint second gaining enough points to win the overall order of merit (category 3) played over six events throughout the year and Oscar was third overall.

Morgan has now reached a level to obtain an official handicap, which is what Golf Access is all about motivating players to progress through the nine coloured levels.

On Wednesday the Okehampton ladies played their annual ‘turkey trot’ Stableford competition. The overall winner was Penny Deakin with 34 points, Sue Stanbury was second with 33 points and third place went to Di Johnson with 32 points.
