ON Saturday a four ball better ball for the Winter Trophy at Okehampton Golf Club was contested.

The winners of division one and the trophy were Matt Mills and David Williams with 47 points; hot on their heels with 46pts were John Halliday and Phil Martin while Steve Peake and Ian Moore were third with 45 points after countback Colin Cornwall and John Mansell.

Division two was won by Ricky Wooldridge and Paul Prouse with 45 points, Ted Boswell and Ray Stevens were second with 44pts after countback placing Mike Davis and Alan Grimshaw in third also with 44pts.
