ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club a large field entered the April Medal and the Kennard Summer Cup qualifier.

Playing conditions were perfect and this resulted in some excellent scores being achieved.

Division one was won by Peter Howell who scored an excellent gross 70, nett 61. After count back David Williams was second, Aaron Kinkead was third and Chris Pike fourth — all attaining nett 66.

The winner of division two was Reg Prescott with nett 61 and Adrian Raymond was second with nett 68. Third position went to Mark Curtis with nett 69 and in fourth Richard Reid.

Reggie Wonnacott was the winner of division three with a great nett 62 followed into second by Jonathan Tatman with nett 68; Eric Pengelly was third with nett 70 and Ray Grey was fourth with nett 71.
