ON Saturday, December 22, with 18 main greens in play, members at Okehampton Golf Club competed in a pre-Christmas four ball better ball Stableford competition, with both scores counting on the par threes.

The winners of division one were Malcolm Hooper and Richard Prouse with 58 points; second place went to Kevin Cornwall and Andy Parry with 56pts and in third place were Arnie Searle and James Williams with 54pts.

Division two winners were Paul Ayris and Mike Hern with 53pts; in second place were Reggie Wonnacott and Tim Butler with 52pts and in third place were Adrian Rowe and Bryan Evans with 50pts. Congratulations go to John Haley for his ‘hole in one’ on the 14th.
