OKEHAMPTON Golf Clubs' Dartmoor League team won this season's Dartmoor League by two clear points.

Superbly led by Rich Camies, the victorious squad brought home the silverware in Rich's first year of captaining this side. There were some gripping golf and heart stopping moments which all led to an exciting climax to the season, even down to the final shot.

Rich Camies thanks his vice-captains Barry Down and Dave Bickle, the entire Dartmoor League squad, Persimmon Homes for their sponsorship, club captain John Haley, club secretary Bev Lawson, golf professional Ashley Moon and the countless support at both home and away matches which made this superb result possible.

The team were presented with the Peter Pearman Shield at Wrangaton Golf Club.
