Okehampton ladies travelled to Barnstaple for a friendly game which was played at a fast pace in a good spirit of fair play.

Oke had Kim Davey and Alex Collins leading the attack and scored first. A short corner taken by Kim Bland shot the ball to Kim Davey who passed it straight back to Kim Bland neatly tap it in at the post.

 Both teams worked hard to get the advantage and it was near the end of the first half before Tor equalised; their constant running and dodging finally gave them a player free in the circle to choose their shot.

 After the break Tor made the most of their push back.  Oke player of the match Sophie Woodley, Carol Taylor, Rachel Hammett and Jane Jones kept getting blocking their attacks but the North Devon ladies just kept coming back. 

Shannon Osman in goal for Oke, pulled out all the stops and made several saves but the pace and organisation of the attack left her on more than one occasion on her own and soon the score rose to 1-4.

Kim Davey was everywhere, ably supported by Alex Collins, Kim Bland and Louise Weller.  Kim Davey found a new burst of energy and blasted through the centre to score Okehampton's second goal with an excellent strike.
