AT Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday a four ball better ball Stableford competition was held. This resulted in an exciting finish with the top three pairs in division one, all coming in with 43 points.

After countback, first place was awarded to Matt Soby and Paul Rattenbury; second were Rod Wright and Ray Stevens and in third were brothers Steve and Graham Browne.

Division two was won by partners Barry Ratcliffe and Geoff Brokenbrow with 42 pts; John Birch and Roger Wools were second with 41pts on the back nine from in third, Alan Lawson and Paul Fewings while in fourth on 40pts were Mike Davis and Alan Grimshaw.

Congratulations to club member Marcia Jones who was the overall winner of the Devon County lady venerable veterans' competition, which was held at Holsworthy Golf Club.
