OKEHAMPTON Simmons Bowls Club held their annual presentation day on Sunday with trophies and prizes being awarded to the winners of this year's various competitions.  

At the same event a cheque for £500 was presented to Liz Westlake and Carol Bennett who were representing Exeter Leukaemia Fund, one of the charities that OSBC has been supporting this year.

Jean Middleton, a long standing club member organised a special charity day in favour of ELF, together with club president Brian Vernon presented the cheque.   Later in the year further cheques will be presented to the other charities that the club has been supporting.
