OKEHAMPTON Argyle U9s travelled to Copplestone for the latest round of league matches.

Copplestone U9s 1

ARGYLE started brightly, with some strong running through the tough underfoot conditions. There was good defensive work that saw Harry Pope pick the ball up midway in his half and power his way up the pitch to play a neat one two and bundle the ball home.

Copplestone put Argyle under pressure which Argyle repelled until they conceded a corner and the home side scored direct for a deserved equaliser.

Copplestone pressed for a second but Argyle were more than keen going looking for a winner of their own. This match was a hard fought out draw for both sides and it is a credit to the Argyle how they played under pressure.

Cheriton Fitzpaine U9s 0

Okehampton U9s 4

ARGYLE brought on some fresh legs for this match as Cheriton started well. Cowan Wilson broke the deadlock with a well struck shot to make it 1-0 to Okehampton. Lucca Bellamy ghosted in with three well taken goals to make that his secon hat trick of the season. This was a good effort from the boys and girl.
