A SPECIAL train on October 12 will allow visitors to enjoy a 25-mile scenic railway journey from Okehampton to Coleford Junction.

The train will leave Okehampton at 1pm, and arrive at Sampford Courtenay at 1.10pm. It will travel on to Coleford Junction and return to Sampford Courtenay at 2.20pm before returning to Okehampton at 2.30pm.

Fares are £10 for adults, £5 for children and £20 for a family ticket, which includes up to four children.

The buffet at Okehampton Station will be open for food and refreshments from 10am to 3.30pm. The railway museum at the station will also be open.
