AN antiques evening is being held in Okehampton next month, to support one of the region's top charities.

The event, with Christopher Hampton from Hampton and Littlewood in Exeter, will take place on Friday October 3 in Okehampton's Conservative Club.

The event is in aid of Rapid UK.

Admission is £5 — three items can be valued.

Refreshments will be available and a raffle will take place with a chance to win a specially made quilt from Okehampton's West Bridge Quilters.
