GENEROUS staff and students from Shebbear College last week decided to raise money for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

Over three  days, charity co-ordinator Fran Lovett organised a cake sale, a fun break time which included pin the tail on the donkey, guess the number of sweets, a tombola  and the very popular 'throw a wet sponge at the teacher in the stocks'.

Everyone involved in the event was delighted that more than £500 was raised towards this worthy cause.
